They do seem interesting but I never did see an actual noise reduction rating anywhere on their website so I could compare them directly to other earplugs.

Then I found this which leaves me uneasy:

"-The EPA has selected the Noise Reduction Rating as the descriptor of hearing protector effectiveness to be utilized on the labels required by U.S. EPA Regulation 40 CFR Part 211 Subpart B. Decibullz makes no warranties as to the suitability of NRR as a measure of the actual protection afforded to the individual user."

EDIT... It's on the box in the photos, NRR 31

I can't see them....

I'm unable to see them on my phone or laptop as well.   Undecided

Thanks Pete.

I really want to write an entertaining build thread this time. In my opinion quick meaningful updates and less lag time make for a more entertaining read.

Thanks Peter!
My current project is the US spec of that bike, it's a total basket case apart from the engine.
Most details are still in the design stage but I'll put together a thread on it eventually.

I'm thinking a much tougher mounting system might last longer. Those 1/4-turn fasteners don't have much steel keeping your cases attached under normal conditions, forget riding in extreme conditions. Maybe some custom rubber-mounted stainless steel feed-thru bushings mounted to the bags and others mounted to the rack, secured with something like this from inside the bag?

Quarter-turn fasteners seem to be fairly popular with the cruiser crowd.  PM sent.

Good story Ben, thanks for the linky.

I'm not surprised one of us recognized it.
Seems to still be a fairly small community based around these bikes.

In Plaistow, NH the other week I spotted this CB750K...

The forecast has improved, looks like no rain on our ride route until after 10pm.

The meeting at Irving in Farmington, NH is at 9:30 if anyone else is undecided.

The forecast looks like 30% chance of rain after 3 or 4pm from Conway all the way south to Waltham, we should be able to avoid that entirely.
