We're doing alright up here. The sun is shining, work is slow and school has been cancelled for a second time.
Shovelling out is progressing slowly, with the -3 wind chill i'm only good for 15 minutes or so out there.

How's everyone else doing?

I'm loving it!

Went for an hour walk yesterday right when the snow was at the heaviest. I played in the snow for a bit and then took a bath with candles and champagne.

Today I am working my a__ off, but it's nice out and I am going to see a modern dance performance tonight. The weekend it's supposed to be snowing a bit again, so likely a few hikes or going cross-country skiing.

Life is beautiful!

Here in VT:
So nice to get some powdery snow with cold temps!!
A few hours of snow removal yesterday helping neighbors, then tea by the wood stove in paradise.  Today running some biz errands then snowboarding!

I played in the snow for a bit and then took a bath with candles and champagne.
Love it Peter!!  Had I a bathtub that's exactly what I would be doing!
Hope y'all are staying cozy!

Tea by the wood stove is in many ways better than a bath with champagne:)!

Cheers to all!

After endless shoveling, a beer in the hot tub surrounded by snow is my preferred collapse. Looks like this evening will be mostly that.

February Beer Night the week of the 20th? Does that work for anyone?

Ah February, it's Monday and school is off again for the third day since Thursday. We picked up another foot or so of snow and winds are in the teens gusting up to the 40's. Yuck.

I'm good for the 20th, have you given any thought to location?

I was thinking somewhere in the general Waltham-ish area, a little closer to those of us in the boonies but still within the urban zone for the city slickers. But totally open to suggestions, as I'll drive anywhere.

Count me in for Waltham area...plenty of places around there. New ones next to Market Basket off Rt 128, exit 26. If looking for more homely then Mad Raven on Main Street, Waltham?

Looks good Andy. I noticed their calendar doesn't show which nights have live music scheduled. I rang them up, but only got voicemail.

Tuesday is trivia night, and I can't do Monday, so how do wed and thurs nites look for anyone? Or is school vacation week throwing things off somehow?

Enjoy your next few beer months! I have to go to Gainesville for work for the next 8 weeks. Dont feel too bad for me, while you all are enjoying the New England winter, I'll have to make do with weekend trips to Daytona Bike Week, an outdoor concert in DC, and other weekend trips to Spring Training and Gator spotting.
See you in April!
(By the way..its impossible to rent a motorcycle in Florida during the month of March, they are mostly reserved a year in advance.  Sad )

Thanks Chris, you have a good time too.

I suppose you could ship your bike down for bike week if you really wanted to.
