I found 3 front and one rear, between the bunch you may be able to piece together the 3 you need. Which one do you have, a front or a rear?

Hey Ben did you ever order up another spraycan of hylomar? I'm sure Treeve will need some before I will....I'm making lists right now...

Did you measure your oil level with the bike on the center or side stand? It makes a difference.

Very good Jay, i didn't put much probability on low oil level....but it is the simplest cause i could think of. Your clutch could possibly still need a tweak too so i'd take Andy up on his offer if you have the time, its always educational to be around the more savvy members.

Rotella 15-40 non-synthetic, search the posts here, i asked a while back and was pointed that way myself. Your bike will love it. could your oil level simply be low?

Hi Jay, just asking a few more things that might be helpful to know... was the bike rather hot when the issue came up each time? Is your oil old? Is there plenty of oil in there? What brand clutch is in there and how many miles are on it? (although it doesn't sound like a clutch issue to me) Thanks and good luck Jay, these guys will get you sorted in a jiffy.-Alan

Seems like lots of places are gouging for mounting and balancing these days. Even my friend who mounted and...ahem...."balanced" both of mine, won't mount tires he didn't sell anymore...

Treeve have you actually checked each of your fuses with your meter set to the Ohms scale? Another simple thing is to simply unplug and reconnect each connector one at a time, inspecting the pins inside the connectors as you go....one critical pin may have developed some corrosion over the winter. Improbable but easy to check. Have you changed or added anything since the bike was running last year?

I'd like to get the box of ignition switches (and keys) to Treeve but friday night is no good at all for me....maybe the next week?    Wait a minute, don't we need 2 beer nights this month to catch up?

Two other cool things i've read about AGM batteries are that you can mail them US Postal or overnight them UPS or Fedex since there is no liquid acid component, and the second point which i cannot substantiate personally....is that they arrive fully charged. Can anyone comment on these points?
