I guess I'm the long lost member huh? Yes, like Alan said its gonna be a great day! I know of at least 2 ppl that will be riding up to nashua with me. Its only $30 per rider $20 for a passenger and you get a sweet t-shirt and breakfast and lunch provided by texas road house. Last year they had over 800 bikes on this ride and it is police escorted so you never put your feet down! Bands play and its just a ton of fun for a great cause! I'd love to see some of you if you can make it. Once I figure out a meeting place and a time ill post!

Are you guys going on Friday or Saturday?
I'm going to watch the weather and make the call based on that. It's ~185 miles each way, there's proly a cheap hotel room in Newburgh at the worst, and I've thought about riding back and staying with friends in western MA if necessary as well.

In summary, I don't really know what I'm doing yet.

Thanks,
Mr. Last Minute

Alan and I are leaving early saturday morning..he said Jay might be joining us as well. As far as I know everyone else is heading up friday.

Smiley Smiley Smiley I guess you can say that  Smiley Smiley Smiley

The truth is that I don't know yet. The question of where would I sleep is important. I think there are more people going, than there is room for their tents. Again, I haven't decided yet.

In any event, have fun with or without me!

Cheers,
Peter

what are you an old fart already? youre concern should be getting there...the whole where to sleep thing doesnt matter until its time to sleep Wink

How the heck were you able to cross reference that? Your search-fu is strong today!  I hope it trips at the same pressure.....

it wasnt me...another guy on the SOHC4 forum had the same prob i did and did all the work for me. its literally the same sensor lol. put it on today and went for a ride and it seems to stop the oil leak. im letting her sit in the garage for a day and see if theres more than just a couple drops. a few drops im fine with (prob some residual leakage). Before it was more like a small puddle after taking her around the block and i did a good 20 mile shakedown ride so we'll see tomorrow.

i finally found where im leaking oil from!! the oil sensor at the top of my oil pump...im about to go scour the forums to find out how to fix said leaking problem...hopefully ill be up and running and be able to get out to Rhinebeck!

Great news...found out my oil sensor is the same used in 1981-2001 honda preludes. Getting a new sensor from honda= $35. Durolast Honda prelude sensor from Autozone= $14.99 and will have it tomorrow morning...should be up and running and on the road within the week!

If Jason winds up joining us I'll ride with him saturday and camp for the night. Jason do you have an EZPass for the toll booths? Plenty of time to get one http://www.massdot.state.ma.us/Highway/fastlane/signup2.aspx You may want to find a tent too http://hiltonstentcity.com/

no EZpass...nor do i own a tent lol...but i have a nice north face sleeping bag thats good to -40 LOL. i have to get my bike going and make sure shes not leaking anymore oil before i even consider this...but if thats happens in the next few days then im deff in and will get everything i need to get for this trip!
