Well Chris I knew about some of your Robo Cop transformation but had no idea that you'd gone the John Wayne route with the porcine pumper part. You've morphed into somewhat of a Boomhauserstein haven't you?

Peter...A-fib? How'd a young guy like yourself end up in the clutches of the medical society with that diagnosis? Should have told them to piss off and walked out the door...or crawled anyway.

Glad you guys are doing well, sorry I wasn't around to offer sarcastic remarks when you were dealing with your issues. I'll try to be more diligent in the future...

I'd still like to contact Mike...so I can offer him some sarcastic remarks...any help with that?

Cheers, beers and heart parts!

Hey my fellow knuckleheads...I haven't posted much recently but check in when I can to see what's up. Can someone pm me with contact info for Mike? Not sure if I have current email addy or phone # for him. Pretty sure I don't actually...

And from Chris, "Heart issues must be something you catch from CB750s. Seems to be running around this forum." Huh? Heart issues? Who's having heart issues besides Mike? I have to pay more attention to you guys..
33  Selling and Buying / Sellers Remorse / Re: Mike K's F bike? on: October 31, 2015, 11:33:24 AM

Funny, I just saw this bike this AM parked on the street in front of a house I used to live in. Stopped and stared at it until I was beeped to move on. If I had somewhere to put it I might consider buying it...

In a WRX. This is a pretty cool vid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7gmbQ8KxM4

I'm not getting half the performance out of my Subie that they are. Should I change my oil?

Pretty nice job making the ol' CB750 a more current bike while still maintaining the proper character I think. Leno has so much cool stuff...bastard! And this isn't even his...

Wow Andy...thanks for the pics, they're great. I almost feel like I've been on vacation...well I am sort of but now I feel like I've visited Iceland. What a beautiful world.

Not much green there is there? Do you know if they manage to grow most of their food or do they import a lot?
37  General Category / Events / Re: March beer anyone? on: March 06, 2015, 11:56:05 PM
I love the Key West Idea! Should we start planning now for next year? I haven't been to Fla. yet, age requirements have kept me out but I can probably sneak in now seeing as I look old...sorta.

Have a great beer night guys. I most likely can't make it as I'm 3 weeks into a 7 week run of 12 hour days, 7 days a week. Yee Haw!!! Am I having phun yet?

Good luck with your knee operation Andy, the meniscus surgery recovery guide specifically cites beer as a very good highly recommended post surgery treatment.

Had no idea Andy that you were a member of the Blue Man group.

Thanks for your pics of another world.

Hey Ben! Happy Biffday and welcome to the club. I had every intention of making it to the the party but schedules changed and there I was not happy. My plan B was to call you during the party but sadly came to the realization that I don't have your # on either of my phones...could have sworn I did. I'm sure I missed a great night but I'm glad it was a great night. I'll never forget our first conversation many years ago at Larz Andersen...

Great job with the video Peter and familia.

Cheers...Mike

Don't have a clue what you are talking about Meldar, but it looks cool!

Methinks you do know what I'm talkin' 'bout but then again, there may be some corrosion going on in the ol' brain stem...yours that is because there couldn't possibly be anything malfunctioning with mine.  Huh? Grin
42  Selling and Buying / Sellers Remorse / Honda trike on: August 28, 2014, 10:48:43 PM

This one's for you Belder you old fuck you. Came across it on CL. Watch it Pelder, there's a trike out there for you too. I think it's called a Scooter...they deliver them straight to your house from TV land.

Good news Chris. Looks like I can call in that favor another time. I LOVE my favor bank!  Grin

I guess sometimes it's good for the registry to be busy when you walk in...paired up with someone too lazy to do their job.
44  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Just thought I'd vent... on: August 02, 2014, 10:03:43 PM

Hey Chris, I sent you a pm but I'm on an ancient G4 right now so don't know if it went through. Is your # still a 617 with a 9for checking in at the end? Let me know and I'll give a call. If you have my # feel free to give me a call. I might be able to help you out with the MG. My # also ends in a 9 fOuR.

The rest of you guys can go piss off... Wink Tongue Grin
45  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Just thought I'd vent... on: August 01, 2014, 08:59:54 PM

Hey Chris, right off the bat I agree, the MA registry is full of contradictions, nonsensical policies, arbitrary policy decisions, mean dispiriting policies and just plain ol' ordinary stewpud management.

However, as much as they suck and as frustrated as you are, do you want to go ahead and toss your time and investment...or enjoy the fruits of your endeavors? Money wise what does your investment plus registry ransom $$ come to in relation to the street value of the car? If it's close, no brainer. Pay up and enjoy the car. Or if the difference is too much you take the bull by the horns and go at the registry about this policy. If you manage to get it changed thousands of vintage people will be holding vigils at your house and attempting to kiss your feet while you try to put your shoes on.

I understand your frustration. Every time I buy something besides everyday stuff I say to myself...that seems kinda pricey. It's all going up all the time and we live in an expensive state. Recently when I was registering a car I heard a clerk tell someone that if they're registering a car with a non-dealer bill of sale then they charge book value. My immediate thought was who's book value and why them? Now that I know it's NADA I know why they use it. It rates cars at a higher value than the others. Shit, I wouldn't give you 10 for that junk bucket... Grin
