How did you know that I was near Dijon?

Wow, Alan! Nice job, man!
That original seat loks nice, but yes that gap... You might have o do a custom seat, or custom ( maybe epoxy) tank.
Anyway, looking awesome so far!
Cheers,
P

Thank you,  I'll probably bring in the stock tank,  it'll fit the frame and mate up to that seat, plus it's got very good capacity. I have a work around yet to test for the "styling" of it...

Looking forward to it.

I just refer to the group s "My bike gang".  But we could call it "A bunch of guys and the occasional gal that like to ride bikes and scooters and occasionally meet up to drink beer and yak about stuff. And most of them have owned a Honda at some point. And some of them spend time in other countries."
So ABOGATOGTLTRBASAOMUTDBAYASAMOTHOAHASPASOTSTIOC for short.

Clever!

Should we change the name of the forum to International New England Honda Guys?

While we are at it drop the Honda part and add in " Motorcycle" somewhere  Cool

Hmmm, and why leave the scooters out??

Hello all,

I have been meaning to write, but life happened so fast is not even funny!!!

I arrived Saturday evening 09/09 and started working on Monday morning! Everything here is new to me and different, naturally, and the learning curve is pretty steep! From work to life related procedures and issues. Getting my documents in place, medical exams, stores closing at 7:00 etc.
The work project(s) are pretty interesting actually. Challenging - without a doubt, but very exciting! I will tell you more when I have time:)

We were planning to go to Dijon this weekend with a Motorcycle (a Triumph Tiger), but it will be pouring rain all weekend, so I decided not to take the motorcycle. It is not mine, not a bike I would like to own, but it belongs to a friend and I cqn take it pretty much anytime I want.
Not sure if I will buy one of my own this year. We shall see... This is what I really like, but lack funds for - https://www.leboncoin.fr/motos/1188028550.htm?ca=22_s

Will write soon again.

Cheers,
Pete

Yep

I agree concerning the fiberglass body design, but I love the frame, which like the Egli, uses the engine as a stressed member, having no tubing to support the engine underneath.
Looking forward to my trip to the Viaduct at Millau, and Andora next week. Hope the weather cooperates!

Totally agree on the frame, Ben.

Ah, Viaduc de Millau! We were going to this together, remember? Oh, well... Life goes on! I would likely do this next year. It's much closer to Grenoble... I hope you have a nice weather!

Martin 750

While I don't particularly like the body, I really like the Lesters with dual front disks set up. I'm sure this bike runs very well!

Thanks for sharing.

A bientot!
