Everybody OK so far?

Heavy wind and rain right now, but so far nothing has fallen down.

On my way home from work, even though the university was closed for the day. Nothing too bad to report here; few down limbs coupled with a few dumb drivers. Back home on the South Coast my family and friends are getting a good hit with some towns calling out mandatory evacuations.

Ride it out, boys. Andy is probably on the bike right now...

No real damage here either. I just went out for a drive to see how dahood looks. I considered taking the rig, but I decided against it. Mi idea was to go down to the shore, but all roads are now closed. What a bummer. Of course I took couple of pictures. Nothing worth posting though. I might go out again at sundown.

Cheers,
Peter

I had to go into work today and got home around 4pm. I was going to take the bike (since I have no car  -I did ride last night and that was bad enough) but...I ended up borrowing a car and pretty glad I did. Lots of wet leaves around and localised flooding on I-95 and on Rt 9. Rain wasnt too bad and wind is just gusty.  I think the worst of it is on the coast.

Now home Smiley

cheers
Andy

I was lucky enough to not have to go in today. A LOT of wind down here by the water.  A couple of flooded roads in the neighborhood and they shut down shore drive, but nothing too serious.  Glad everyone is unscathed.

No damage up here, and in my travels north yesterday I only saw a few tree limbs down and many free range political signs...

Andy, Peter P. and I had worse weather on the ride out to Rhinebeck the first time than I saw yesterday.

Happily we're all reporting in mostly incident free.
I can't help but wonder how Ben was able to post without an Internet connection?   Smiley
