Hey all,
I met some of you for the first time when the Godzilla Ride of 201? stopped in front of a small motorcycle shop on Flat Street in Brattleboro, VT called Lynde Motorsports.  The proprietor's name is Stanley Lynde, and although we didn't see him that day, perhaps on other trips some of you have come to know him.  He is a friend and generous community member and my long time motorbike mechanic when I can't fix it myself.  He's also responsible for getting me together with my first Honda.

Stanley and his wife Laura were in a very bad motorcycle accident on Sept. 25.  Laura is recovering but Stanley suffered severe injuries and hasn't woken up yet.  We're all pulling for him to come through this.  And, if you have 'em, please send prayers/energies/thoughts his way.  Perhaps just your reading this far gave him a little boost, from one biker to another, on this ride unfolding.
Below are some links if you want to know more.

I hope all of you are well and enjoying this gorgeous New England autumn,

Bethanie

Same as Chris for me. I met and spoke with that guy when we stopped there a couple of years back, and liked him and what he was doing. Very sorry to hear! A wish to please be careful to all, as the four legged critters are scurrying around preparing for winter, and are all over the place. Soon wet leaves will be too.

I just know that after my accident, if I didnt have exceptional insurance, I'd have been on the hook for over $400K. I'm happy to help a small business guy from the M/C community when possible.

It is with heavy heart I report that Stanley passed away last night.
He fought hard but his injuries were too severe.  And, he died doing what he loved.  His daughter Kelli shared a beautiful update on the gofundme page if you are moved to read it.
Be safe out there friends.
love,
Bethanie

We never met but his reputation is known far and wide, it's a great loss to the community.
